JURE KRAVANJA
Rojen je pred petinštiridesetimi leti v Celju, kjer je obiskoval gimnazijo, v Ljubljani pa končal študij socilogije in pedagogike.
Od malih nog ljubitelj filmov, je začel fotografirati pred dvemi leti in fotografije pošiljati na razstave.
Do sedaj je imel sprejeta dela na oseminšestdesetih tekmovalnih razstavah doma in v tujini, ter bil štiriintridesetkrat nagrajen. Samostojno je razstavljal trikrat. Motive fotografiranja išče v arhitekturi in urbani pokrajni, neusahljiv izziv pa so mu podobe človeka, vpetega v urbano okolje.
Avtor je razpet med prikazovanje včasih skoraj idealiziranih podob in med fotografije vsakdanjika.
